Discipline, Vacancy and Qualifications (Total 1080 Posts):

1. Mining-(319), Mechanical-(145), Electrical-(159), Chemical/Mineral-(09), Civil-(50), Telecommunications and Electronics-(07), Industrial Engineering-(09):- B.Tech/BE with 60% marks in respective Engineering branch
2. System-(10) B.Tech/BE/BS.c (Engg) with 60% marks
3. Environment-(13) Environmental Engineering degree with 60% marks
4. Geology-(31) and Geophysics-(06) M.Tech/M.Sc in Geophysics/Geology
5. Materials Management-(17) Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical
6. Finance and Account-(133) Having Qualified in ICWA/CA
7. Personnel and HR-(136) MBA degree with 60%  marks (Specialization in Human Resource)
8. Sales and Marketing-(19) MBA Degree/ Post Graduation in Management with 60% marks (Specialization in Marketing)
9. Rajbhasha (Hindi)-(06) Master’s Degree in Hindi with 60% marks and Graduate with English and Hindi (Main Subject)

Pay Scale:
E1 Grade- Rs.16400 to 40500 during 1^st Year, after Completion of Training E2-Rs.20600 to 46500
Job period: Candidates will be appointed for 50 months only
Medical Test: Candidates will have to undergo for Medical Test before joining

Candidates will have to pay application fees of Rs.500 in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Coal India Limited Payable at Kolkata. (SC/ST and PH Candidates are exempted from application Fees)
