Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is inviting applications for the recruitment of General Foreman and Technical Assistant vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies as given below:
Vacancies: 13 posts
Name of the posts:
1. General Foreman: 5 posts
Pay scale: Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay – Rs.4700/-(PB2) (PM)
2. Technical Assistant: 8 posts
Pay scale: Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay – Rs.4700/-(PB2) (PM).
Age limit: 18 – 35 years as on 01-07-2011, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Auto Mobile Engineering or Auto Mobile Technology of any recognized university or institution (OR) Post Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or of any recognized institution or board.
Application fee: Rs 130/- to be paid only through postal receipt obtained from any on of the post offices or sub post offices.
Selection process: Written test/oral test in the shape of an interview basis.

Online Application Form: Apply online at www.tnpsc.gov.in and send the printout to: Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, No.1 Greams Road, Chennai–600006.
Offline Application Form: Obtain OMR Application form in specified post offices by paying 30/- or obtain the application form sales counter of TNPSC on all working days till the closing date up to 5.00 pm. And filled in application should be sent to:
Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, No.1 Greams Road, Chennai–600006.

Closing date for online submission: 13-06-2011, up to 5.45 PM.
Closing Date of offline submission: 15-06-2011, up to 5.45 PM.
Written Exam: 16-10-2011, 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
